Susan La Marca

Susan is a consultant in the areas of children’s and young adult literature and school libraries and currently head of library services at Genazzano FCJ College. Susan is the editor of Synergy, a SLAV online journal. Susan has been a CBCA judge, and a panel member for various awards. In 2010 she received the John Ward Award for her contribution to the profession in Victoria.  She is currently the regional director for Oceania of the International Association of School Librarianship. Susan has edited a number of texts in the field of teacher-librarianship and wrote the book Knowing Readers: Unlocking the Pleasures of Reading with Pam Macintyre. Susan also edited, with Pam, the anthology Things a Map Won’t Show You. A second anthology Where the Shoreline Used to Be is to be published by Penguin in 2016.
