Sam Merrifield Library

The Sam Merrifield Library is located at the Moonee Ponds Junction near the Clocktower Performance Centre. It is the largest of the Moonee Valley Library branches.

There is a 2 hour disability permit parking space located behind the library, an unlimited park in the carpark on the eastern side of Pascoe Vale Road and an unlimited park on Pascoe Vale Rd on the western side. There are two 3 hour parks (or unlimited after 4:30pm) on Mt Alexander Road in front of St Thomas Anglican Church and 2 more directly opposite the church in the car park in the centre of Mount Alexander Rd.

Moving within the Library
The library is on a single level. There is ample space between shelves and displays and entrances into meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible.

There is a specifically designed toilet for disability access.

Please contact library staff in person or call 8325 1950 if you require access for a wheelchair or scooter when attending an event so that we can ensure appropriate seating is arranged.

The Moonee Ponds Station (Craigieburn line) is a 5 minute walk down Puckle St.
The 59 tram stops at the Moonee Ponds Junction. A number of bus lines stop at the Moonee Ponds Junction.
Bike parking is available in the walkway near the Library.
