Benjamin Law is a TV screenwriter, feature journalist and columnist. He’s the author of two books – The Family Law (2010) and Gaysia: Adventures in the Queer East (2012), both of which were nominated for Australian Book Industry Awards. He’s also the creator and co-writer of The Family Law, an award-winning SBS TV series based on the book of the same name, and was an associate producer and researcher of the SBS feature documentary Deep Water: The Real Story (2016). Law is a weekly columnist for Good Weekend, has a PhD in creative writing and has also written for over 50 publications in Australia and worldwide.
