Emma King

Emma King is a Collingwood football player in the inaugural season of AFLW. She is originally from Perth, Western Australia where she got drafted to Collingwood Football Club in 2016 to fulfil her childhood dream of playing AFL. She is among 218 women nationwide who made up the inaugural season of AFL Women’s. Starting her football journey at just seven years old, she played alongside the boys until she was 13. At age 14, she joined the open women’s league and has continued her dream to one day play at the highest level. At just 22, she has also finished a degree in architecture and wishes to work in the field alongside playing in the AFLW competition.
