Gary Abrahams is a director, writer, dramaturge and actor. For Melbourne Theatre Company, he was assistant director on All About My Mother, Songs for Nobodies, The Gift and Australia Day. His recent directing credits include many productions by Red Stitch Actors Theatre, including ROAM, The Pride, Day One, A Hotel, Evening. For his own company, Dirty Pretty Theatre, Abrahams has directed Acts Of Deceit, Something Natural but Very Childish, The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant and his own adaptation of Therese Raquin. Abrahams is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (Masters of Theatre Practice).
