Heather Rose

Heather Rose is the author of seven novels. Her latest novel The Museum of Modern Love won the 2017 Stella Prize and the 2017 Christina Stead Prize for Fiction. It is also shortlisted for the 2017 Australian Literary Society medal. Rose’s previous novels include The Butterfly Man and The River Wife. The Butterfly Man was shortlisted for the Nita B Kibble Award, longlisted for the Impac Award and won the Davitt Award in 2006. Rose writes for children under the pen name Angelica Banks, with co-author Danielle Wood. Two of their Tuesday McGillycuddy books have been shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards for best children’s fantasy novel. She is a 2017 recipient of an Australia Council grant.
