Jane Hutchinson is CEO of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy, a not-for-profit, non-government, environmental organisation with a vision for Tasmania to be a global leader in nature conservation. The Tasmanian Land Conservancy started from humble beginnings with only $50 in the bank. Since then it has grown to being one of the largest private landowners in Tasmania and has worked in partnership with landowners, governments, supporters and volunteers to achieve nature conservation across over 65,000 hectares of private land. Hutchinson received the Tasmanian Australian of the Year 2016 award for her contribution to nature conservation.
