Miles Allinson

Miles Allinson is a writer and an artist. His paintings, installations and interventions have been appearing semi-legally in or on billboards, newspapers, laneways, answering machines, trams and underground carparks around Melbourne since 2003. He has a bachelor of creative arts and a postgraduate diploma in creative writing from the University of Melbourne, as well as a masters degree in fine arts (art in public space) from RMIT University. Allinson’s first novel, Fever of Animals, about the elusive Romanian surrealist Emil Bafdescu, won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript in 2014, and was published in 2015.
