Patrick Allington’s novel Figurehead (2009) was longlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award. His short fiction, critical writings, essays, columns, profiles and interviews have appeared widely in newspapers, magazines and online. As the inaugural ABR Fellow, he wrote a major essay about the Miles Franklin Literary Award and Australianness. Patrick is a lecturer in English & creative writing at Flinders University, and is an experienced editor.
