Sales & Ticketing Manager

Contract, 30 Mar – 28 Aug 2020

MWF seeks an experienced Sales & Ticketing Manager to deliver box office and customer service functions for the Festival.  This includes managing and maintaining online ticketing and onsite box office systems, and providing exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with MWF’s marketing and development team, the Sales & Ticketing Manager will contribute to the planning and execution of agile and responsive ticketing initiatives that engage and grow audiences, whilst ensuring an excellent ticket provision for stakeholders.

Development Manager

MWF seeks an experienced Development Manager to join the team. Working closely with Melbourne Writers Festival’s CEO, they are responsible for managing a portfolio of established and developing relationships; and for identifying, pitching for and securing new sponsorship that delivers financial and strategic benefits. The Development Manager will work across corporate, cultural and educational partners, philanthropic trusts and individual donors, and some grant bodies.

Venues, Front of House & Volunteers Coordinator

Contract, 25 May – 28 Aug 2020

MWF seeks a patient and energetic Venues, Front of House & Volunteer Coordinator to plan and deliver front of house processes for the Festival.  The role is responsible for recruiting and supervising front of house casual staff, rolling out recruitment and rostering of the festival volunteers for Box Office, Artist Transport and Front of House duties, and works closely with MWF’s production team to deliver all Festival events to the general public.

We are looking for someone with experience in front of house operations in live events, festivals or theatres, event delivery and customer service.
