Lidia Thorpe

Lidia is a Gunnai-Gunditjmara woman, mother of three and grandmother living on Wurundjeri country. She is the First Aboriginal woman in the Victorian Parliament. A lifetime advocate for Aboriginal peoples and communities for self-determination and community control, Lidia is a one of Australia’s leading Aboriginal activists and commentators.
