Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith lectures on children’s and Young Adult literature at Monash University. She is the author/editor of six books, several of which focus on girls’ fiction. Her recent co-authored monograph is From Colonial to Modern: Transnational Girlhood in Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand Children’s Literature, 1840-1940.
