Jenny Slate: Strangely Enough

MWF is delighted to bring the talented actor and comedian Jenny Slate  to Melbourne audiences in a special live, in-person appearance at The Athenaeum as part of the 2022 program.

Throughout her career, Jenny Slate has deployed her considerable talents across multiple mediums. She has starred as a comedic actress in hit films and shows Everything Everywhere All At Once, Obvious Child and Parks and Recreation; co-created the short animation Marcel the Shell with Shoes On and voiced the beloved titular character, now a feature film; and published the bestselling memoir-in-essays Little Weirds, of which George Saunders enthused, ‘This book is something new and wonderful…It made me remember I was alive’.

Slate appears live in person to discuss her creative ambitions and chameleonic career with award-winning journalist and TV presenter Jan Fran (The Frant).
