Development Manager

We are seeking an organised, capable and enthusiastic Development Manager to join our Festival team. The Development Manager plays a proactive and pivotal role by initiating and delivering the relationships that secure significant sponsorship, partnership and philanthropic support for the organisation.

MWF’s Development Manager works very closely with the Head of Marketing and Development, and the CEO. They are responsible for managing a portfolio of established and developing relationships; and for identifying, pitching for and securing new sponsorships that deliver financial and strategic benefits. They work across corporate, cultural and educational sponsors, philanthropic trusts and individual donors, and some grant bodies.

This is a fantastic full-time role for someone who is ready for their next step in the development landscape.

Applications will be accepted until 9am (AEDT) on Wednesday 2 January 2019. Download the position description and use the application form above to submit your application.

MWF offers a structured voluntary internship program. Internships are designed for people who want to complete a placement as part of an educational course, and people keen to develop their professional experience and skills. MWF internships provide a professional development experience, with hands-on participation in a major festival environment, in a supportive and fun team.

2019 internship applications will open in February.
