Cast your vote to select the winner of People's Choice Award from 24 Sep to 8 Oct

Win a $50 Readings voucher with your vote

In partnership with Study Melbourne, MWF invited all international students studying with a Victorian education provider to submit a story about their Melbourne Beginnings to our annual storytelling competition.

14 students from five categories have been shortlisted to enter an additional round of voting, and you decide the winner with your vote. The story with the greatest number of votes will be the winner of the People’s Choice Award. Your vote will enter you into the lucky draw for a $50 Readings voucher.

Study Melbourne x MWF: Melbourne Beginnings

To celebrate the creative projects of the 14 finalists, a virtual prize presentation will be held at 5pm on Thu 21 Oct. Hosted by editor, speaker and dancer Adolfo Aranjuez, the event will also feature an opening address by poet and teacher Abdul Hammoud on creativity and life in Melbourne.  This is a free online event but bookings are required.
