Amy Thunig: Memoir Writing

Sun 7 May, 10am
The Wheeler Centre Workshop Space

What goes into translating your life story into a compelling work of memoir? Learn from Amy Thunig, the Gomeroi/Gamilaroi/Kamilarou author of the remarkable autobiography Tell Me Again, as they lead a workshop on putting your story to the page.

Sharing insight from their own writing, they explore finding the right rhythm and pacing for your narrative, how to approach speaking with the people you are writing about, and practising self-care as you excavate the events of your life.
