Regarded as one of the major music influencers of our generation, American singer-songwriter and producer Ben Folds has toured the world with his patented brand of heart-pop. He’s now penned an extraordinary memoir and will be in conversation with Charlie Pickering about the influencers who changed his life, as well as playing live songs that shaped him.

Ben Folds is an American musician who's created an enormous body of genre-bending music that includes pop albums with Ben Folds Five, solo albums, and collaborative records. He's the author of A Dream About Lightning Bugs - a charming, wise chronicle of his artistic coming of age, infused with the wry observations of a natural storyteller.

Edgy, polished and inventive, a political junkie and law graduate, Charlie Pickering is one of the most exciting names in Australian comedy. You can see Charlie each week on The Weekly with Charlie Pickering on ABC TV which returned for a fifth season in 2019.
