Charcoal Lane: Quandong and Magpie

Sat 7 Sep, 8pm

Enjoy a Rosella flower cocktail on arrival while schmoozing with the Blak & Bright literati (plainly speaking, a big mob) at acclaimed restaurant Charcoal Lane. You'll enjoy gourmet Indigenous canapés, music and drinks while the guest speaker, Stan Yarramunua (A Man Called Yarra), shares the story of his extraordinary life. This event is a fundraiser for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation while Charcoal Lane is also a social enterprise. We've named the event in honour of Indigenous fruit the quandong, that glorious bright red fruit that’s a treat in remote areas where no other fruits survive, and the Magpie, the beautiful warbling storyteller. All-inclusive and not to be missed. With Stan Yarramunua, Shauntai Batzke, and hosted by Kylie Belling.
