Growing Up in Country Australia is a new anthology that upends stereotypes about the people and places beyond our cities to present a fresh, modern look at life in the country. Featuring authors from diverse backgrounds, there are stories of joy, adventure, nostalgia, connection to nature and freedom, alongside ones of disaster, survival and resilience. The collection’s editor, journalist and author Rick Morton, chats with Tony Armstrong, Bridie Jabour, Laura Jean McKay and Sami Shah about their contributions to the book.
