Heather Mitchell: Everything and Nothing

Sun 7 May, 3pm
State Library Conversation Quarter

Heather Mitchell is an esteemed Australian stage and screen actor, but behind the scenes lies a tale, filled with twists and turns just as remarkable as the many she’s been part of telling.

Everything and Nothing is her powerful, immersive and intimately candid memoir that explores the light and shade that coexist in love, family and the arts. It has been praised as ‘a gentle collection of musings on an extraordinary life; unpretentious and honest, full of stoic wisdom’ (Tim Minchin) and ‘an extraordinary life told in tender detail, capturing triumph, love and tragedy with a beautiful humanity’ (Annabel Crabb).

Hear from Mitchell as she illuminates her storied life in conversation with Fran Kelly.
