Her new book, Bailey Finch Takes a Stand, tells the story of a girl named Bailey who finds a way to make her local waterway safe after her dog Sheba swallows dangerous rubbish at the creek. Be inspired by Bailey’s courage and learn how you can take a stand and make a change in your own neighbourhood! Ages 8+

Ingrid Laguna is a writer and teacher. Her debut children’s novel, Songbird, was given Notable recognition by the CBCA and has been published in the UK and the US. Its sequel, Sunflower, was longlisted in the Australian Book Industry Awards. Her fourth novel, Bailey Finch Takes a Stand, will be published in September 2021.
