Workshop: Embracing Your Poetic Licence

Fri 9 Sep, 2.30pm

No matter what you’re writing, renowned author and poet Claire G Coleman believes poetry can help you write it better. In this illuminating workshop, she covers how to make your writing more musical, the role of rhythm and tone, how juxtaposing words can subtly change their meaning, and how lyricism makes language more powerful in both poetry and prose. Coleman shares insight into her own experience penning acclaimed poetry and as the author of several books of fiction, including the newly released novel Enclave. Leave with a newfound ability to embed lyricism into your work.
