Yumi Stynes’ Wedding Reception

Sat 7 Sep, 6pm
RMIT Storey Hall

In 2018 MWF celebrated the adored Magda Szubanski by staging her funeral and in 2019 we’re going next level by celebrating the mock ‘wedding reception’ of the very excellent human Yumi Stynes (does her actual husband even know?). Join us for an evening of wedding speeches and toasts to one of our favourite people in a night of surprise guests and big love. Formal attire optional.

Yumi Stynes is busy. She hosts the podcast Ladies, We Need to Talk, parents a shitload of kids and, you know, likes to waste time having fun. This year she's been shooting a documentary on sexism for SBS while merrily fighting racism on her own time. All this while trying to waste as few fucks as possible.
