RA Spratt knows a thing or two about storytelling—not only is she a performer, podcast host, and television writer, she’s also the prolific author of the riveting Nanny Piggins books, the Friday Barnes mysteries, and the Peski Kids series.
Her latest book Shockingly Good Stories gathers together tales designed to spread laughs, smiles and silliness—be prepared for high-energy, action-packed, laugh-out-loud fun as Spratt uses her latest work to lift the lid on what makes a great story.

Ingrid Laguna is a writer and teacher. Her debut children’s novel, Songbird, was given Notable recognition by the CBCA and has been published in the UK and the US. Its sequel, Sunflower, was longlisted in the Australian Book Industry Awards. Her fourth novel, Bailey Finch Takes a Stand, will be published in September 2021.
RA Spratt wrote Friday Barnes, The Peski Kids, and The Adventures of Nanny Piggins. When she isn’t writing stories, she is telling them on her podcast Bedtime Stories with RA Spratt. She lives in Bowral, NSW. She has three chickens, five goldfish and a desperately needy dog called Henry. Also a husband and two daughters.
