Today at MWF
Your daily bulletin board, full of MWF goodness.
We’ll be updating this page daily during the Festival with social and networking opportunities, program highlights, and hints on where to find MWF staff for a quick drink and a hug. Think of it as your own personal resort hotel bulletin board – but instead of ‘sunrise beach yoga’ and ‘5pm Mai Tais’ we’ll be pointing you towards bookish nooks and Festival soirees. So be sure to check in.
SUNDAY, 8 SEPTEMBER
A NOTE FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR –
Excuse moi it’s the FINAL DAY OF MWF19! I know I spruik the odd event or occasion on here but if I may: please go visit Letters To My Broken Heart, at Black Box RMIT – just to the left of the Kaleide Theatre, from about 11 – 4 (takes about ten minutes to get through, no bookings). It will pierce your soul in the best way and hopefully give you some healing balms. We survived a day of sporadic sideways rain and startling sunshine (classic Melbs) on Saturday and will be heading into the remainder of Sunday optimistic. We have the last heady handful of conversations, panels, poems, confessions and romantic catharsis before us until we gather together and toast our Last Goodbye at Storey Hall, followed by drinks at the Toff. Come find me, I will cling to you like a clip-on koala.
YOUR DAILY LITERARY LOVE QUOTE:
