Athenaeum Theatre
The Athenaeum Theatre is Melbourne’s oldest cultural institution, starting life as the city’s first Mechanics Institute in 1839.
Accessibility
Accessible entry to the theatre is via the front right-hand doors on Collins Street. Because there is no lift access to the dress circle or balcony, accessible seating is found in the stalls. There are two wheelchair and two companion seats at the back of the stalls.
Transport
The nearest undercover parking is at Wilson Parking on Flinders Lane. This can also be access from Russell Street.
