Lined with galleries and cosy cafes, the Atrium is a hub for local artists and designers and is at the centre of Melbourne Writers Festival, housing the Readings Festival Bookshop, book signings, and a range of free activities.
The Atrium has lift access and is wheelchair accessible. Arrangements can also be made to enter from the Fed Square car park. Accessible toilets can be found in the Atrium. the atrium can be easily accessible from the Flinders St entrance to the Atrium, or from the main plaza via steps. Deakin Edge can be accessed via the lift at the top of the Main Square and via the Flinders Street entrance to the Atrium.
The undulating surface of Fed Square’s main plaza is made up of sandstone cobblestones, with a marked access path. Please contact us if you have access requirements, or tell us your access requirements when you buy your tickets.

Take Yarra Trams route 1, 3, 3A, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 or 72 to stop number 13; or route 35, 70 or 75 to stop number 5. Flinders St is the closest train station, immediately opposite Fed Square.
