Carrie Tiffany

Carrie Tiffany was born in West Yorkshire and grew up in WA. She spent her early twenties working as a park ranger in Central Australia and now lives in Naarm. She is the author of three novels: Everyman’s Rules for Scientific Living; Mateship with Birds; and Exploded View. All her novels have been shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award. She has also been shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction (UK), the Guardian First Book Award (UK), and the Prime Minister’s Prize for Fiction, and was the winner of the inaugural Stella Prize. Carrie teaches creative writing at La Trobe University.
