At this special Festival event, five First Nations women offer an intimate look at their artistic practices – across writing, poetry, music, performance and art.
Join novelist Anita Heiss, journalist Amy McQuire and singer-songwriter Alice Skye as they each perform their work and then come together to discuss their practice, their inspirations and their process – from the hard work and daily grind of writing and storytelling, to the magic moments when it all clicks together.
Prepare for a night of community and generosity as these remarkable artists come together in celebration of the power of Blak women's creativity.
Curated and hosted by Nardi Simpson.
This event runs for 75 minutes.
