Join New York Timesbestselling author Leslie Jamison (Splinters, The Empathy Exams) for a session on how to excavate and activate personal archives – be they old diaries, emails, photos or voice memos – to grant nuance and texture to writing and complicate the stories we tell about ourselves.

Through reading texts that draw upon private records in illuminating ways and brainstorm exercises, this workshop will help you develop a deep consideration of what archives teach us about the messiness of our emotional experiences, the sly deceptions of memory and the layers of profundity that dwell inside ‘ordinary’ life.

Workshops run for 150 minutes.

Workshops are excluded from early-bird pricing.
