Shelley Parker-Chan is an Asian Australian author of award-winning, internationally bestselling fantasy novels in which murderous queers make bad life decisions. Their debut novel, She Who Became the Sun, was the first-ever work by an Australian to be a finalist for the prestigious Hugo Award for Best Novel. They live in Melbourne.
