To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Melbourne Writers Festival, we are gathering memories from the incredible community who has helped to build, shape and sustain MWF.

Did you meet, or discover, your favourite author at the Festival? Were you at one of the earliest Festivals in the 80s? Did you share a special moment with a loved one, or make a new friend bonding over a book? Was there a thought-provoking conversation you still think about today? Your special memory may be collected in our festival archive and could feature on our website.
