  Yael van der Wouden is a writer and a teacher. The Safekeep, her debut novel, was a finalist for the 2024 Booker Prize and has been longlisted for the 2025 Aspen Words Literary Prize. It was also named a New York Times Notable Book of the Year and a best book of the year by The Washington Post, Time, The Economist, Kirkus Reviews, The Times (London), The Independent, BookPage, and others. She lives in Utrecht, Netherlands.

  Amie Kaufman is a New York Times, USA Today and internationally bestselling author of science fiction and fantasy.   Patrick Lenton is a journalist and author living in Melbourne. He is the editor of the queer culture newsletter, Nonsense. His debut novel is a queer rom-com titled In Spite of You, which is coming out in August.

  Torrey Peters is the author of the novel Detransition, Baby, which won the 2021 PEN/Hemingway award for debut fiction and was named a Best Book of the Century by the New York Times. Her second book, Stag Dance, was published in March. Torrey is an amateur sauna builder, rides a pink motorcycle, and splits her time between Brooklyn and an off-grid cabin in Vermont.
