For the past decade, Queerstories has connected audiences across Australia. Now, the beloved LGBTQIA+ storytelling series comes to Melbourne Writers Festival for one night only.
Curator and host Maeve Marsden is joined by writers Rumaan Alam, Clem Bastow, Bebe Oliver, Norman Erikson Pasaribu and Ernest Price, with each guest sharing a story they want to tell but are never asked to – unexpected tales of pride, prejudice, resilience and resistance. Vulnerable and fierce, hilarious and heartbreaking, Queerstories offers unique windows into the richness and magnificence of the queer community.
This event runs for 90 minutes.
