Woldeyes is a poet, author, storyteller and human rights academic. In this session, he draws on his deep knowledge of African traditions, Ethiopian philosophy, epistemic justice, and the politics of language and belonging.  
 
This workshop will explore the false beliefs that infuse stories from the colony, tropes to avoid, and insights for writers to consider while writing on stolen land. Suitable for writers at all creative and career stages, from all contexts and backgrounds.
